PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Use a squeegee on the shower glass after each use. This is the best option to prevent build up on the glass. However, if you have a water repellant coating on your glass we recommend using a micro fiber cloth as the constant use of a squeegee will wear down the coating over time.
For black mold under the silicone, clean the are with a 50/50 solution of water and bleach. Soak the affected are for 2 hours. Rise, then repeat as necessary.
In areas where tap water has a high mineral content ("hard water") use permanent glass protection or water repellant coating on your shower glass.
